Ms Yew has three professional teams to support the operation of Cutie Cottage®. They are the nurses, educators and the supporters. The centre has a stringent set of requirements for its staff.
The nurses have at least Diploma in Nursing and registered with the Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) or a diploma in related medical field.
The Educators have at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or with experience from well-known kindergarten(s). The support team includes chefs, hygiene controllers, area managers, and admin team.
It is compulsory for the staff to attend in-house Cutie Cottage Level 1 (infant & toddler-care) Training and Level 2 (Early Childhood Education) Training. The trainings are followed by written assessment and practical observation. Staff must attend Peadiatric First Aid Course and have valid certificates. They would also be required to attend Kursus Asuhan Permata (KAP) organised by JKMM. All staff must pass the pre-employment medical screening and have their vaccination.
Parents are encouraged to bring expressed breast milk (EBM) or walk-in to breastfeed their babies at the centre.
Ms Yew believes that a childcare centre should be transparent. She is a firm believer in the security provisions of online CCTV, which allows parents to log in and view the centre anytime.
Our vision is to become a professional baby, toddler and childcare centres that specialises in the well-being of young children below six years old.
We respect every child, holding the belief that each has hidden potential. By allowing and encouraging them to explore the world by experiencing and playing.

“Hi! I’m Tian. As a former full-time working mother, like many other working mothers, I used to face challenges in finding a professionally trained baby sitter that can handle breast milk. The challenge drove me to start my first infant care centre at Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya to assist parents alike. My vision for Cutie Cottage is a simple one, a professional team to nurture our young ones at the same time promote breastfeeding and transparency.
So far, the experience and journey in the early childhood industry is both meaningful and rewarding. I am proud and grateful to have a great team who believe in the same vision as me. Together we will continue to provide the assistance needed and play an important role in this community, empowering mothers.”
